I awoke this morning wanting to stay...in bed because it was "easier". I didn't though. I got up instead and made myself go to YOGA. I knew that if I went, I'd feel better on the inside and, in turn, the outside. I'm all for listening to my body and resting when necessary but I'm also a huge advocate for working hard and doing my best even when it's not "easy".
Change is not "easy" for anyone. Change is change and change is hard. Breaking out of old habits, patterns, & cycles isn't a cake walk. It's a walk that requires determination, self love, hard work, and dedication.
Decide what patterns aren't working for you and start your path for positive change, whatever direction it might take you. Sometimes change requires "letting go"...sometimes, it's that simple! Sometimes the simplest things are the most difficult to change. Let it go. Declare it. Write it down...whatever you do, JUST DO IT...don't stay in old patterns when healthy new rays are just around the corner waiting for you to soak in.
Be patient with yourself. Do your best always & try the "not so easy" path for once, you might pleasantly surprise yourself! Namaste.
