Bullying is wrong. If you saw your child being teased or bullied, you'd (without hesitation) harrow to protect your child, to stop the abuse...you'd never let someone scare, threaten, berate, or lash out at your child...BUT, do you subconsciously or unknowingly do it to yourself???? Do you bully yourself?
Self-talk can be a slippery slope if you aren't harboring self-love and forgiveness.
You don't have to be perfect, you have to be YOU. You don't have to be perfect to inspire others either, in fact, you inspire others MORE with how you deal with imperfection and how you RISE after falling or making mistakes.
Check your self before you wreck yourself.
Check in, mentally, right now. Go inward...breath and start to reflect on how you treat yourself after a failure or mistake? What goes on in your head?
Chances are you could be a little gentler and kinder to yourself. Practice self love. Give yourself a break. Embrace your perfect imperfections and glorious mistakes...they're platforms for discovery, opportunity and growth, if you let go.
I am love. What are you?
