Often, students ask how-to meditate or how-to quiet their minds...as we know, true enlightenment is finding calm in even the most chaotic of times...
I had a really nice woman ask me this week "how-to quiet her racing thoughts"...though I had just spent only an hour with her, her sweet soul shined its light soft energy and I felt connected with her. She was eager to know and learn Yoga and recently experienced some traumatic life events that could really use the soothe and healing touches of breath and body connection. I explained my personal yogic principles and adoration for the practice and I told her, with conviction, if she stuck to it, and dedicated herself to keep showing up for Yoga (anywhere) that her wounds would unswell and her cracks would start welcoming in light soon. The best part of telling her this was that I knew it was true because I witnessed it, myself.
Yoga heals. Yoga calms. I ❤️ yoga.
