"Instead of quoting the Buddha, BE the Buddha" -Elkhart Tolle
Radiate so much love and light that people can feel your warmth. When we live in gratitude, it shows. Inversions and poses are NOT why we practice & study YOGA. Ego may tell us otherwise but it's wrong and completely adverse to the spirituality and philosophy of the practice. Yes, I won't lie, I love sticking a handstand or progressing into a new pose pasture but Yoga is not a competition or a show. It's fun to share our love and gratitude FOR the practice but let us not lose sight of what's important.
Yoga is for every-ONE. every-BODY, every level, every age, rich, poor, skinny, curvy, every body is beautiful in their own right and practice. I love seeing diversity and everyone's flow is beautiful no matter what level or body type.
The point of YOGA...the gift we receive when we dedicate time to practice is rich in it self, something money cannot boast or buy. Living Yoga in your daily life is something no one can take away from you...ever...
A studio is just a building.
if you have a mat, love in your heart and a will to learn, your practice is with you always and in this day in age there are ommmmmmazing outlets to learn and progress at everyone's disposal no matter what your social status is...what's status, anyways? It's ego...let that shit go. Be you. Live your passion.
Yoga opens our eyes, ignites our senses, lifts our hearts, heals our pain, retrieves countless gratitudes and enlightens our minds.
Let Yoga love you. It leads me and nurtures me every day.
Learn to meditate...handstand is just a "pose". Prayer will take you much further.
